Commencement Ceremony for 2020 Graduates Postponed
Posted on 10/02/2020
Hello AY 2020 Grads and Parents,
On behalf of former Principal Kristin Riddell and our team here at AY Jackson, I am writing to provide an update on the celebration plans for the AY class of 2020.
As per the directive from the Premier, limits remain in place for large gatherings and these limits are likely to remain in place for some time. For the time being,
we will postpone the scheduled October 9th Commencement Ceremony as we await further direction from the OCDSB and the province. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes to individuals and families and we remain hopeful that we can plan something later this year or early in 2021. Any plans will be shared with you via email or on our school website at

Please note that students over the age of 18 must provide the school with written permission to have an appointed person pick up their documents. Please email Ms. White with the name of the person picking up your Diploma.
As we manage the many competing demands of the pandemic, we remain appreciative of your support and patience. We look forward to welcoming you back to AY Jackson in the future.
All the best,
